Thailand में घूमने की जगहें
Southeast Asia's only country never colonised by a European power — gilded temple spires, a legendary street-food culture, and a monarchy woven into daily etiquette.
Thailand has a tropical monsoon climate with three broad seasons: cool and dry (November-February, the most comfortable for travel), hot (March-May, with temperatures regularly exceeding 35°C), and rainy (June-October, with heavy but often short afternoon downpours rather than all-day rain). Bangkok sits on the Chao Phraya River in the central plains and functions as the country's primary international gateway and transport hub, with a mix of BTS Skytrain, MRT subway, river ferries, and famously congested road traffic. Thai etiquette places strong emphasis on respect for the monarchy (criticism is a criminal offence) and Buddhism (modest dress and shoe removal at temples, no touching monks for women); the wai greeting (palms pressed together, slight bow) is the standard social gesture. Street food is a genuine culinary highlight rather than a fallback option, and tipping, while not obligatory, is increasingly common in tourist-facing establishments.
