What we do not claim

Nobody from Traveliac has visited these places. There is no field desk and no correspondent on the ground. Anything written here comes from published sources, not from a personal visit.
Prices and hours change without notice. The date on each page is the day its facts were last compiled, not a promise that they are right today. Check the official website before you travel.
Rankings are our editorial opinion, applied by the same published rubric to every city. See how we rank places. They are not measurements, and nobody can pay to be listed or to move up.

What every page has to pass

A page that fails any of these stays unpublished until it is fixed. That is why some well-known places are missing.

A credited photo

Every published place carries a freely licensed photo from Wikimedia Commons with its author and licence shown. Places without one stay unpublished.

Real hours and prices

A page needs actual opening hours and ticket prices, not "varies" or "nominal fee". Where a place has an official website, we link it so you can confirm before you go.

Four page-specific questions

The FAQ on each page has to answer questions about that place, not generic filler.

No templates

Before every deploy an automated check compares all published prose. If two pages share most of their text with only the name swapped, the deploy stops.

Where the facts come from

Opening hours, ticket prices and addresses come from each site's official website or its managing body — the Archaeological Survey of India, a state tourism department, a temple trust, a museum or a national park authority — and from public reference sources. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under the licence shown beside each one. Maps use OpenStreetMap data. Where a place has an official website, it is linked on its page.
