Terms of use

Traveliac is a free guide to places worth visiting, city by city. We don't sell tickets, tours, accommodation or transport, and we don't take bookings.

The text on Traveliac is © Traveliac, all rights reserved. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive licence to read it, and to print or save pages, for your own non-commercial use, such as planning a trip. You may link to any page, and you may quote a short passage if you credit Traveliac and link to the page.

Anything else needs our written permission first, including republishing, translating, selling or otherwise using our content commercially. Ask at editorial@traveliac.com.

You may not copy our text or data in bulk, by hand or by automated means (scrapers, crawlers, bots or scripts). That includes entry fees, opening hours, rankings, crowd timings and our search index. You may not use them to build a database, dataset, directory or competing service.

Search engines may index the site in line with our robots.txt file. The search index at /search-index.json exists to power the search box; it is not a data feed.

The photos on Traveliac come from Wikimedia Commons and are not ours. Each is used under its own licence and credited on the photo. The licence in these terms does not cover them: if you reuse a photo, follow that photo's licence. Our copyright and photo credits page explains how.

We work hard to keep the site accurate and follow our editorial guidelines. But entry fees, opening hours, rules and conditions change, often without notice, and mistakes happen. Always check with official sources before you travel. Our travel information disclaimer sets this out in more detail.

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the information is accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site is fit for any particular purpose, available or free of errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Traveliac is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site. This includes direct, indirect and consequential loss, such as a wasted journey, a closed site, a changed price, a missed connection, or a problem with a booking made on another website.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

We link to other websites, such as Google Maps, official tourism and ticketing sites and Wikimedia Commons. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, prices or practices. A link is not an endorsement. Anything you buy or book on another site is a matter between you and that site, under its own terms.

When you use the site, you agree not to:

• use it for anything unlawful;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or its data;
• disrupt or overload the site, for example with excessive automated requests, or introduce malicious code;
• get around any technical measure that limits access to the site;
• present our content as your own, or suggest that Traveliac endorses you or your business.

We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, say what changed on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site. If you live outside India, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of your own country.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of them still applies.
