Museum of Anthropology at UBC holds about 50,000 ethnographic objects and about 535,000 archaeological pieces, with a centrepiece of Bill Reid's The Raven and the First Men, a yellow cedar sculpture that appeared on the Canadian twenty-dollar bill from 2004 to 2012. Its Multiversity Galleries display more than 9,000 objects from around the world, and the Elspeth McConnell Gallery of Northwest Coast Masterworks opened in June 2017.
